16 September 2011: IRS announced today that Endeavor Systems has been awarded a Prime Contract on the Total Information Processing Support Services IV (TIPSS IV) vehicle. A 10 year, $2 billion contract, Endeavor is one of eight small businesses to earn a coveted spot on the TIPSS-4 small business vehicle.
"This victory cements Endeavor's reputation as one of the nation's leading small businesses," said Endeavor's CEO, Jiemin Li. "Against formidable competition, Endeavor's exceptional past performance and technical approach, combined with our best value pricing, enabled us to rise above the crowd."
An IRS vehicle open to all Treasury offices, TIPSS-4 is designed to meet all conceivable IRS IT service requirements for the next decade. It is a follow-on to the enormously successfully TIPSS-3 vehicle, which played a key role in driving IRS's successful modernization efforts. Updated to meet the challenges of the next decade, including a renewed focus on cyber security, TIPSS-4 will ensure IRS's uninterrupted access to the best possible IT and security personnel.
“Endeavor is honored that IRS chose to recognize our capabilities with a spot on the TIPSS-4 contract,” said Ms. Li. “IDIQ contracts are a key component of our five year strategic plan. With 100% win rate over nearly a dozen federal IDIQ vehicles, we have built a strong foundation to support our continued success. We look forward to working with IRS over the next decade to drive continuous improvement in IT & security operations.”
